Speaker Bio

Will Berryman is the CEO of Hostworks. Will has over 25 years media and digital media experience. He has worked as a recording musician, a science and technology Journalist at the ABC and was a foundation member of Nickelodeon International’s global new media team established in the mid 1990’s. Will was the inaugural CTO of the SBS in Australia and following worked out of London and Hollywood as the global COO of Technicolor’s Broadcasting and Digital Content Delivery business. In this role he oversaw the outsourced operations of over 350 global TV channels in six countries and the global distribution of Hollywood studio content to global distribution channels. Will has worked extensively in Asia, managing and chairing several digital startups in India. He is currently the CEO at Hostworks, Australia’s Digital Roadies. Will is also a Director of the Australian Interactive Media Association and a Member of the National Council of the Royal Institution of Australia, Australia’s peak science communications and educational body. He was educated at the University of Sydney where he majored in Cognitive Science and Economics.
