Speaker Bio

Grant Pattison is the Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales for Insurance Australia Group (IAG) – Commercial Division Technology. Grant stands at the forefront of the fastest moving marketing industry trend: marketing technology. He has spent the past five years evangelizing a company-wide shift to mobile, social, mobile & social technology through the prism of Customer & Partner Experience and has helped position IAG Commercial as a leader in the marketing technology space. A calculated risk-taker with deep insurance industry knowledge, Grant has championed marketing technology predominately through IAG’s commercial brand, CGU Insurance. Throughout his nine year tenure with IAG, Grant has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new business models, and building out channel programmes. He also developed CGU’s profitable online micro SME offering projected to be one of IAG’s next giant growth opportunity. Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts. He is a former Finance professional and trusted executive adviser and is a valued speaker on the marketing conference circuit and other industry events.
